Permissible LLC helps small business owners prepare and position their businesses to apply with lenders: entity compliance, business credit profile setup, vendor credit accounts that report, and lender-ready documentation. Approval decisions are made solely by lenders. We will never tell you otherwise, and anyone who guarantees funding is telling you something no honest firm can.
No card required. No obligation.
Note: This is a separate service from our personal credit repair program, with its own enrollment path. Enrolling in credit repair is never a requirement for, or a promise of, business funding.
Charleston based, since 2018
Flat project pricing disclosed in writing before you enroll, paid in stages as work is completed
We speak lender: Paydex, net-30 reporting, entity compliance, debt-service coverage
No guaranteed-funding claims, ever. That is a promise.
The Readiness Ladder, With Honest Timelines
This is a sequence, not a shortcut. Each rung makes your file stronger for the next. None of it guarantees approval.
- Entity compliance (typically 2 to 4 weeks). LLC standing, EIN, business address, phone listing, licenses, and a business bank account. Lenders check these basics first and quietly decline files that fail them.
- Business credit profile (typically 1 to 2 months). D-U-N-S number, bureau profiles, and correcting anything misreported about your business.
- Vendor credit that reports (typically 3 to 6 months of history). Net-30 vendor accounts that actually report to the business bureaus, paid early to build a payment record such as a Paydex score. Building real history takes months. Anyone selling a faster path is selling risk.
- Lender matching and application prep. When your file is ready, we help you identify lender types that fit your revenue, time in business, and industry (banks, credit unions, SBA programs, and SC CDFIs), and we help you assemble the application package. The lender alone decides.
What About Personal Credit?
Most small-business lenders review the owner’s personal credit, and many require a personal guarantee. If your personal reports contain items you believe are inaccurate, our separate personal credit repair service can help you dispute them. That is its own program with its own pricing, and completing it does not qualify you for funding. Some clients have used both services in sequence; the two decisions are independent and each stands on its own.
A Real Charleston Example
A North Charleston logistics LLC came to us after a line-of-credit denial. Over roughly eight months, the owner completed entity cleanup, built five reporting vendor accounts, and reapplied with a regional credit union that approved a $40,000 line. The credit union made that decision, not us, and it took eight months, not thirty days.
Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. Lenders make all approval decisions.
Straight Answers for Business Owners
Can I get business credit with just an EIN and no personal guarantee?
Mostly no, at least not at first. Some vendor accounts extend net-30 terms based on the business alone, but nearly all meaningful financing for young businesses involves a personal credit review or a personal guarantee. Anyone promising large “EIN only” funding for a new LLC is repeating a common online myth.
Do you guarantee funding amounts?
No, and you should treat any guaranteed dollar figure as a red flag. The FTC has taken enforcement action against business funding programs making guaranteed-funding claims. We prepare your file; lenders decide.
Why do Black-owned businesses hear “no” more often?
Federal Reserve Small Business Credit Survey data shows Black-owned firms were denied at roughly 39 percent versus about 18 percent for white-owned firms. Preparation alone does not close that gap, but a complete, verifiable file removes the easy reasons for a no, and SC CDFIs and mission lenders exist specifically to widen access.
